Indonesia stocks higher at close of trade; IDX Composite Index up 0.18%

Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Financials, Agriculture and Basic Industry sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index gained 0.18%.

The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Champ Resto Indonesia PT (JK:ENAK), which rose 27.97% or 40.00 points to trade at 183.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Artha Mahiya Investama Tbk PT (JK:AIMS) added 25.00% or 235.00 points to end at 1,175.00 and Wahana Inti Makmur Tbk PT (JK:NASI) was up 22.31% or 29.00 points to 159.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Leyand International Tbk (JK:LAPD), which fell 10.00% or 4.00 points to trade at 36.00 at the close. Cakra Buana Resources Energi PT Tbk (JK:CBRE) declined 9.55% or 38.00 points to end at 360.00 and Express Transindo Utama Tbk (JK:TAXI) was down 9.09% or 1.00 points to 10.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 464 to 231 and 134 ended unchanged.

Shares in Leyand International Tbk (JK:LAPD) fell to 52-week lows; falling 10.00% or 4.00 to 36.00. Shares in Artha Mahiya Investama Tbk PT (JK:AIMS) rose to 52-week highs; rising 25.00% or 235.00 to 1,175.00. Shares in Cakra Buana Resources Energi PT Tbk (JK:CBRE) fell to 52-week lows; losing 9.55% or 38.00 to 360.00.

Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.13% or 0.12 to $90.40 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.10% or 0.10 to hit $98.19 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.97% or 40.00 to trade at $4,073.50 a troy ounce.

USD/IDR was up 0.26% to 18,077.70, while AUD/IDR fell 0.72% to 12,433.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.35% at 101.78.
