Indonesia stocks lower at close of trade; IDX Composite Index down 3.43%

Indonesia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Infrastructure, Financials and Agriculture sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index declined 3.43%.

The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Mitra Komunikasi Nusantara Tbk PT (JK:MKNT), which rose 14.29% or 1.00 points to trade at 8.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Platinum Wahab Nusantara Tbk PT (JK:TGUK) added 11.11% or 9.00 points to end at 90.00 and Ancora Indonesia Resources Tbk (JK:OKAS) was up 13.64% or 12.00 points to 100.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Acset Indonusa Tbk (JK:ACST), which fell 10.00% or 8.00 points to trade at 72.00 at the close. Sumber Mas Konstruksi Tbk PT (JK:SMKM) declined 9.88% or 8.00 points to end at 73.00 and Wira Global Solusi Tbk PT (JK:WGSH) was down 9.88% or 8.00 points to 73.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 695 to 76 and 61 ended unchanged.

Shares in Mitra Komunikasi Nusantara Tbk PT (JK:MKNT) rose to 3-years highs; rising 14.29% or 1.00 to 8.00. Shares in Wira Global Solusi Tbk PT (JK:WGSH) fell to 52-week lows; down 9.88% or 8.00 to 73.00.

Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.67% or 0.68 to $102.44 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.71% or 0.79 to hit $111.53 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.72% or 29.20 to trade at $4,009.20 a troy ounce.

USD/IDR was up 0.26% to 18,142.70, while AUD/IDR rose 0.32% to 12,744.93.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.20% at 102.01.
