Colombia stocks higher at close of trade; COLCAP up 0.46%

Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Industrials, Services and Agriculture sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP added 0.46%.

The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Grupo Argos SA (BVC:GRUPOARGOS), which rose 1.99% or 400.00 points to trade at 20,540.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (BVC:BVC) added 1.82% or 300.00 points to end at 16,740.00 and Banco De Bogota SA (BVC:BOGOTA) was up 1.70% or 640.00 points to 38,360.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Mineros SA (BVC:MINEROS), which fell 5.19% or 1,060.00 points to trade at 19,380.00 at the close. Grupo Nutresa SA (BVC:NUTRESA) declined 5.07% or 16,260.00 points to end at 304,540.00 and Organizacion Terpel SA (BVC:TERPEL) was down 2.52% or 480.00 points to 18,600.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.

US coffee C for December delivery was down 2.06% or 6.45 to $306.00 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 0.39% or 22.00 to hit $5,560.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.24% or 50.40 to trade at $4,010.00 a troy ounce.

USD/COP was down 1.12% to 3,150.41, while BRL/COP rose 0.26% to 633.35.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.05% at 101.60.
