Siemens Energy stock rises on positive sector read-across
Siemens Energy shares gained over 5% over the past two trading sessions with Bank of America analysts pointing to positive implications from recent earnings reports by GE Vernova and Hitachi Energy.
The bank pointed to four key takeaways from the two companies’ results that support a favorable outlook for Siemens Energy.
These include strong gas margin momentum, grid margins expected to move higher, sustained gas original equipment order levels through 2027, and potential upside to gas aftermarket growth.
Bank of America maintains a highly positive view ahead of Siemens Energy’s targets announcement scheduled for November 11.
The bank expects the company to guide for fiscal 2030 margins of 21-23%, which is somewhat above current market expectations. The firm also anticipates fiscal 2027 free cash flow guidance of up to €9-10 billion and annual share buybacks of €4 billion.
"Shares now more than price in DC risks; even our harsh bear case SOTP still points to decent upside," Bank of America analysts commented.
