Our AI knew it: +98%, +75%, +73% - these picks crushed earnings and keep climbing

Investing.com - Wall Street closed a bruising week on Friday, with the Dow sliding 652.82 points to 52,215.16 as the selling that started in AI names spread into the blue chips. The S&P 500 slipped 0.52% to 7,623.68 and both it and the Nasdaq booked a second consecutive weekly loss. Oil went the other way: WTI jumped 3.99% to $103.44 and Brent settled at $116.72, a six-month high.

Underneath that red tape, a different story has been running all year. Our ProPicks AI strategies are holding a set of companies that beat on earnings months ago and have simply refused to give the gains back - even through weeks like this one.

InvestingPro members, who receive our monthly-updated list of stock picks, were already positioned in these names long before the results landed. Jump straight to the full list of October picks HERE.

That is exactly what ProPicks AI is built for: identifying companies where the fundamental setup is strengthening before earnings confirm the story, or where the market has not yet priced in what the results revealed.

Here are five timely calls members received before the numbers hit - with gains measured from the day each was picked through Friday’s close:

What our models identified before the rallies

By applying investor-grade financial research and machine-learning models to tens of thousands of equities worldwide, ProPicks AI finds companies where fundamentals and growth outlook point to outsized moves before the broader market catches on. Every pick comes with the rationale behind it.

Delek US Holdings is the standout, now up +98.39% since it entered the Energy Elite book on March 1 at $37.51. It closed Friday at $74.41 - close to double.

Here is what the data showed:

Consensus Cloud Solutions is the counterweight - a small-cap software name up +75.42% since February 1, and the reason this list is not simply a bet on crude.

How the wider books are holding up

Three of these five names sit in Energy Elite, our 15-stock energy strategy, which is up +78.63% in 2026 - the strongest calendar-year return of any US strategy we run - and +28.71% ahead of the S&P 500 Energy index. Its book is currently 12 holdings up against 3 down, led by EOG Resources (+16.15% in October) and Chord Energy (+15.55%).

One honest note: Energy Elite has lagged its own sector this month, adding 5.20% against the energy index’s 10.71%, because roughly a third of the book sits in midstream and MLP names that do not move with crude as violently as the refiners do. The year-to-date gap is the number that matters, and it remains wide.

Consensus Cloud is held in Small-Cap Sprinters (+34.13% in 2026, +23.13% versus benchmark, 15 holdings up against 5 down), while Amneal sits in Mid-Cap Movers, which identifies the 20 most promising mid-cap stocks with a market cap between $2 billion and $10 billion each month. That book is 14 up against 6 down and carries +36.46% of excess return over the S&P Midcap 400 this year - the widest benchmark-beating margin of any US strategy on our roster.

Which strategies are winning right now

Heading into a heavy week - the Federal Reserve decides on Oct. 28, with HF Sinclair and Microsoft reporting the same day - four US strategies are beating their benchmarks by double digits in 2026: Mid-Cap Movers (+36.46%), Energy Elite (+28.71%), Small-Cap Sprinters (+23.13%) and Dominate the Dow (+12.06%). Healthcare Heroes adds +7.35%. The common thread is the one running through every name above: businesses where cash generation inflected first and the share price followed.

How Investing.com’s AI-Powered Stock Picker Works

At the beginning of each month, our proprietary AI system evaluates thousands of global equities using a complex blend of historical data, valuation signals, and forward-looking growth metrics.

By processing more than 15 years of financial data across more than 150 quantitative models, the engine identifies up to 20 high-conviction stocks per strategy based on their projected medium-term upside potential.

Every month, these strategies undergo a strict rebalancing process. New opportunities are added, strong performers are retained, and stocks that no longer meet the criteria are removed.

To consistently track performance, each strategy utilises equal weighting across all selected stocks. While investors are free to adjust their own allocations, this structure provides a transparent benchmark for evaluating overall model performance.

The goal is to keep capital positioned in the companies showing the strongest combination of momentum, valuation, and business performance.
