Faraday Future expands robotics push in Middle East, set to launch new products

Faraday Future Intelligent Electric Inc. (NASDAQ: FFAI) said on Sunday that following the official launch of its Middle East business on August 28, it has completed the sale and delivery of its first order in the region – six robots in total, two humanoid and four quadruped. The company also said it is getting ready to launch several new products in September including the Master Mini.

The Middle East is seen as an important market for the company strategically, from a business perspective, as well as from a capital perspective, the company said.

“The Middle East has strong purchasing power and a large number of high-net-worth customers. This will greatly support our product sales and accelerate the global deployment of our “Four-Core Full-Stack AI” ecosystem,” Founder and Global CEO YT Jia said.

On September 19, the company plans to introduce several new products, including Master Mini, alongside Industry Productivity Solutions 1.0 for its EAI Robotics Education Ecosystem.

Faraday Future will hold Part 2 of its Business Partner conference at the end of September, even as Part 1 of its ‘Built in USA, Benefit the World’ event at its Los Angeles headquarters on August 26 saw it unveil a three-phase roadmap for its Acceleration Program and plans for two new products—the full-size humanoid Next Futurist and the quadruped Next Aegis.

“The event has also generated strong sales momentum. Within just two days after the launch event and private product previews, we received nearly 50 new orders,” the company said.

Another major initiative launched was RoboShare & Co., a distributor program with the goal of building what the company describes as the continent’s largest and most diverse robot-sharing platform.

More than 80 robots are already operating on the platform, according to the company. RoboShare is intended to lower the barriers and costs associated with robot deployment and encourage the use of robots in more real-world applications.

Distributors attending the conference collectively cover more than half of the existing robotics market and sales channels in North America, based on the company’s initial estimate. One of the new partners, MOSO Robotics, intends to combine its sales and service network across all 50 U.S. states with Faraday Future’s robotics capabilities.
