Copart stock may move 6.2% on Sept. 10 earnings release

Copart Inc. (NASDAQ:CPRT) shares could move 6.2% when the company reports earnings on Sept. 10 during the trading day, based on options data compiled by Bloomberg.

The company’s stock price exceeded the options-implied move in five of the past eight earnings announcements.

On May 21, options indicated a 6.3% move, but the stock changed by 2.6%. On Feb. 19, the implied move was 5.3%, while the actual price change was a decline of 7.7%. On Nov. 20, options suggested a 6.4% move, but the stock fell 1.3%.

On Sept. 4, 2025, the implied move was 5.3%, and the stock declined 0.1%. On May 22, 2025, options indicated a 3.9% move, but the stock dropped 14.0%. On Feb. 20, 2025, the implied move was 1.2%, and the stock fell 4.1%.

On Nov. 21, 2024, options suggested a 4.2% move, and the stock rose 8.2%. On Sept. 4, 2024, the implied move was 3.3%, while the stock declined 5.9%.
