November often marks the point where investors start positioning for year-end, and the start of a new month is a natural time to review watchlists. Finding a good company and finding a good moment to buy it are two separate problems, though. Fundamentals show which businesses deserve a place in a portfolio. The chart helps decide when to step in, and when a setup has stopped working.

The five stocks below were selected by combining both. The first filter is fundamental: every name comes from InvestingPro’s ProPicks AI strategies, which have just completed their monthly update.

The AI behind these portfolios analyzes more than 100 financial parameters and 25 years of data to select companies, and each addition comes with the reasons for its inclusion and a detailed Pro report.

The second filter I have used is technical. From the stocks in these portfolios, including several new additions, the focus is on names with a clearly defined resistance level that would activate a bullish target if broken, along with clear support levels that would signal the setup has failed. Five stocks currently meet those conditions.

With November’s rebalance now live, this month’s ProPicks AI performance shows just how far across global equities the gains have spread—and why disciplined, data-driven stock selection remains the ultimate edge.

Where the Stocks Come From

The ProPicks strategies have held up well this year. Mid-Cap Movers, which focuses on US mid-sized companies, is up 47% this year and has historically averaged an annualized return of close to 20%. More than 80 strategies cover markets beyond the US.

For investors who want to run their own version of the first filter, WarrenAI, Investing.com’s AI assistant, works well as a screener.

A prompt can ask it for a list of companies that meet specific conditions, such as a minimum level of revenue growth, earnings growth, or a price above its moving average. It can also summarize unfamiliar companies and run technical analysis.

Here are the 5 stocks that combine a place in the ProPicks AI strategies with a technical setup close to a key breakout level:

1. Sotera Health

Sotera Health (NASDAQ:SHC), one of the new additions to Mid-Cap Movers, shows several positive technical signs. After a steep decline, it left a bullish gap at the lows that the recent correction has not filled. A second, smaller bullish gap further up has also held.

Sotera Health-Daily Chart

The key level is the $20 zone. A break above $19.85 would end a sideways range that has lasted almost four years and trigger two bullish targets. The first is a second impulse toward $23.05, and the larger range breakout points to a more extended rebound beyond that. Ranges this long do not last forever, and joining the ProPicks portfolios could be the catalyst for a move higher.

2. Willis Towers Watson

The weekly chart of Willis Towers Watson (NASDAQ:WTW) shows a clear uptrend with rising highs and lows. The stock bounced from its main bullish trendline to its all-time high area at $350.34, then corrected. That correction stopped right at the 200-week moving average and a pivot zone.

On the daily chart, the 200-day moving average is starting to turn upward. A break above $350.34 would activate a second-impulse target toward $391.50. The pattern can also be read as a continuation inverse head and shoulders, or an ascending triangle, which would point to a more ambitious target near $453 once the stock clears its all-time highs. The first important support sits at $283.42, with long-term support at the bullish trendline and $238.96.

3. e.l.f. Beauty

ELF Beauty (NYSE:ELF) fell sharply after forming a double top, with near-vertical declines. Now it appears to be building a base after bottoming at $48.82. It has recently filled a dangerous bearish gap, and its 200-day moving average has turned upward.

ELF Beauty Daily Chart

The level to beat is $151. A break above it would activate a rectangle target toward $245. Along the way, the $160 zone could slow the advance, and the all-time high at $221.83 is a significant resistance. On the downside, the first major support is the $91.40 low, followed by the 200-day moving average and the 61.8% Fibonacci retracement of the latest rally, currently near $75.40.

4. Redeia

Spain’s Redeia, formerly Red Eléctrica, has just been added to the ProPicks strategy focused on Spanish market leaders. InvestingPro lays out the reasons for its inclusion, and its Pro report gives a detailed breakdown of the company’s financials.Redeia-Daily Chart

From a technical standpoint, Redeia has been in an interesting position for some time. A break above its key resistance would activate a large rectangle structure, pointing to a significant medium-to-long-term move higher. The pattern is not a textbook rectangle, and the setup has not been triggered yet, so for now it remains one to watch.

Last week, however, the stock gave an early positive signal by breaking out of a short-term sideways move, which can also be read as a descending channel broken to the upside. That has improved the short-term outlook. The next step is for the moving average to start acting as support, and above all, for the price to clear resistance and activate the larger bullish structure.

4. GEA Group

GEA’s weekly chart is clearly bullish. The German food-processing technology supplier has been posting rising highs and lows, and its 200-week moving average is pointing upward.

The daily chart shows two pending bullish targets. The first comes from a third upward impulse, following two earlier impulses and their corrections. Third impulses are less reliable than second ones, so this target is better treated as a reference than a firm objective. The second comes from a rectangle breakout, which gives a more conservative upside reference.

The stock’s only resistance is its all-time high. On the downside, the first support is the trendline, followed by a former resistance zone that now acts as support, and then the rising 200-day moving average. As long as these levels hold, the uptrend remains intact.

Conclusion

All five stocks passed a fundamental filter first and a technical one second, which gives investors a clear plan for November rather than a list of names to buy outright. Each has a defined level that would confirm the next leg higher, and clear supports that would signal the setup has failed.

Sotera Health and Willis Towers Watson are closest to their breakout points, with a move above resistance being the signal to watch. e.l.f. Beauty and GEA are already trending higher, so the focus there is on whether their supports hold. Redeia is the furthest from a confirmed signal and remains one to monitor until it clears resistance. A pending target is never guaranteed, so the support levels matter as much as the targets as the month unfolds.
