Trump offers press secretary role to UFC CEO Dana White
Trump described Dana White as ‘a violent Fighter and Warrior’
President Donald Trump said on Saturday that he has offered the role of White House press secretary to Dana White, the president and CEO of the Ultimate Fighting Championship.
“I am pleased to announce that the Great Dana White, a violent Fighter and Warrior, has been offered the job of Press Secretary of the United States,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
“I have requested that he bring with him assistants, even though some are not from our Country, of Islam Makhachev, Khabib Nurmagomedov, Justin Gaethje, Daniel Cormier, Amanda Nunes, and Kayla Harris,” he added.
All these individuals are prominent mixed martial arts fighters associated with the UFC. Some are from Russia and Brazil.
“We need these people to defend us against the Lunatic Left,” Trump wrote. “Dana will be a Press Secretary like none other. Dana, please take the job!”
The press secretary position has been vacant since Katie Zacharia was fired on October 16, just five days into the job.
Her dismissal followed a single, widely panned press briefing that lasted only 14 minutes, during which she took questions from three reporters.
