Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Healthcare, Technology and Consumer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.02% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Boliden AB (ST:BOL), which rose 2.48% or 12.40 points to trade at 512.20 at the close. Meanwhile, AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN) added 2.32% or 35.00 points to end at 1,545.50 and Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb) was up 1.98% or 5.50 points to 282.70 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b), which fell 2.74% or 4.55 points to trade at 161.25 at the close. Nordea Bank Abp (ST:NDASE) declined 2.26% or 4.40 points to end at 190.45 and Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST:ERICb) was down 2.19% or 2.16 points to 96.34.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 417 to 311 and 72 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.28% or 0.21 to $75.56 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.25% or 0.20 to hit $79.56 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 3.42% or 141.85 to trade at $4,294.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was unchanged 0.01% to 10.97, while USD/SEK fell 0.15% to 9.50.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.13% at 99.61.
