Saudi Arabia stocks higher at close of trade; Tadawul All Share up 0.82%

Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Media & Publishing, Petrochemicals and Insurance sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.82%.

The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Arabian Contracting Services Company (TADAWUL:4071), which rose 9.97% or 3.82 points to trade at 42.12 at the close. Meanwhile, Ladun Investment Co (TADAWUL:4328) added 9.94% or 0.18 points to end at 1.99 and Saudi Vitrified Clay Pipes Company SJSC (TADAWUL:2360) was up 7.23% or 1.14 points to 16.90 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Najran Cement Company (TADAWUL:3002), which fell 2.32% or 0.13 points to trade at 5.47 at the close. Saudi Arabian Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8100) declined 2.12% or 0.20 points to end at 9.25 and Saudia Dairy & Foodstuff Company SJSC (TADAWUL:2270) was down 2.01% or 3.50 points to 170.50.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 239 to 86 and 19 ended unchanged.

Shares in Saudia Dairy & Foodstuff Company SJSC (TADAWUL:2270) fell to 3-years lows; down 2.01% or 3.50 to 170.50.

Crude oil for December delivery was up 3.95% or 3.87 to $99.02 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.15% or 0.17 to hit $109.69 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.40% or 16.60 to trade at $4,186.70 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was up 0.20% to 4.22, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.03% to 3.75.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.06% at 101.60.
