Saudi Arabia stocks higher at close of trade; Tadawul All Share up 0.19%

Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Insurance, Cement and Financial Services sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.19%.

The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Arabia Refineries Co. (TADAWUL:2030), which rose 4.85% or 2.50 points to trade at 54.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Walaa Cooperative Insurance Company SJSC (TADAWUL:8060) added 4.62% or 0.52 points to end at 11.78 and Saudi Automotive Services Co. (TADAWUL:4050) was up 4.08% or 1.70 points to 43.40 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Taiba Holding Co. (TADAWUL:4090), which fell 2.49% or 0.49 points to trade at 19.17 at the close. Al Moammar Information Systems Co CJSC (TADAWUL:7200) declined 2.28% or 7.00 points to end at 300.60 and Saudi Ground Services Co (TADAWUL:4031) was down 2.17% or 0.58 points to 26.18.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 183 to 146 and 30 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for October delivery was up 1.60% or 1.46 to $92.47 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 1.07% or 1.02 to hit $96.65 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 2.27% or 100.29 to trade at $4,514.89 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was up 0.31% to 4.36, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.76.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.54% at 99.02.
