Orlen CEO expects Polimery Police deal to close soon

Orlen (WSE:PKN) Chief Executive Ireneusz Fafara expressed confidence that a deal to acquire the Polimery Police plant from chemicals company Grupa Azoty (WSE:ATTP) could be finalized in the near future.

Shares of Grupa Azoty dropped as much as 5.2% on Thursday following a report suggesting that a legal dispute might threaten the transaction.

The Polimery Police facility is a chemicals manufacturing plant owned by Grupa Azoty.
