Nordex wins order for nine turbines for German wind farm

Nordex has won an order from German developer DenkerWulf for nine turbines totalling 51.3 megawatts for a wind farm in Schleswig-Holstein, the wind turbine maker said on Tuesday.

The nine N149/5.X turbines are for the Bredenbek wind farm in the Rendsburg-Eckernförde district. Each will have a capacity of 5.7 megawatts and a hub height of 105 metres.

Installation is due to begin in autumn 2027, with the first turbine to be commissioned in December 2027. The order also includes Premium Service for the turbines for 20 years.

Nordex received orders from DenkerWulf totalling more than 122 megawatts for three wind farms in Schleswig-Holstein as recently as the end of 2025.

DenkerWulf’s experience covers more than 970 turbines installed in ten German states and over 2.25 gigawatts of installed capacity.

Nordex has commissioned more than 67 gigawatts of wind power capacity in over 40 markets since 1985. The company had consolidated sales of around €7.6 billion in 2025 and has more than 11,100 employees, with factories in Germany, Spain, Brazil, India and the United States.
