Indonesia stocks lower at close of trade; IDX Composite Index down 0.57%
Indonesia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Infrastructure, Financials and Agriculture sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index fell 0.57%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Semacom Integrated Tbk PT (JK:SEMA), which rose 34.93% or 51.00 points to trade at 197.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Leyand International Tbk (JK:LAPD) added 34.78% or 24.00 points to end at 93.00 and Fortune Indonesia Tbk (JK:FORU) was up 25.00% or 930.00 points to 4,650.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Sunson Textile Manufacturer (JK:SSTM), which fell 4.24% or 20.00 points to trade at 452.00 at the close. Merdeka Gold Resources PT Tbk (JK:EMAS) declined 12.57% or 1,100.00 points to end at 7,650.00 and Bayan Resources Tbk (JK:BYAN) was down 10.53% or 1,300.00 points to 11,050.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 527 to 158 and 142 ended unchanged.
Shares in Semacom Integrated Tbk PT (JK:SEMA) rose to 3-years highs; gaining 34.93% or 51.00 to 197.00. Shares in Fortune Indonesia Tbk (JK:FORU) rose to 52-week highs; rising 25.00% or 930.00 to 4,650.00.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 3.41% or 3.41 to $103.46 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 3.36% or 3.51 to hit $108.12 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.28% or 56.40 to trade at $4,352.50 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.64% to 17,683.00, while AUD/IDR fell 0.19% to 12,580.89.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.47% at 99.31.
