Indonesia stocks higher at close of trade; IDX Composite Index up 1.13%

Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Financials, Infrastructure and Agriculture sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index added 1.13% to hit a new 3-months high.

The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were PT Mizuho Leasing Indonesia Tbk (JK:VRNA), which rose 33.78% or 25.00 points to trade at 99.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Guna Timur Raya PT (JK:TRUK) added 25.00% or 215.00 points to end at 1,075.00 and Pt Pakuan Tbk (JK:UANG) was up 24.90% or 640.00 points to 3,210.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Global Digital Niaga Tbk PT (JK:BELI), which fell 12.81% or 52.00 points to trade at 354.00 at the close. Bekasi Asri Pemula Tbk (JK:BAPA) declined 10.83% or 17.00 points to end at 140.00 and Asia Sejahtera Mina Tbk (JK:AGAR) was down 9.94% or 180.00 points to 1,630.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 409 to 242 and 185 ended unchanged.

Shares in PT Mizuho Leasing Indonesia Tbk (JK:VRNA) rose to 52-week highs; rising 33.78% or 25.00 to 99.00. Shares in Guna Timur Raya PT (JK:TRUK) rose to all time highs; rising 25.00% or 215.00 to 1,075.00.

Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.41% or 0.37 to $90.64 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.42% or 0.40 to hit $95.23 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.58% or 69.70 to trade at $4,484.30 a troy ounce.

USD/IDR was down 0.16% to 17,655.70, while AUD/IDR fell 0.35% to 12,678.06.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.32% at 99.24.
