Hemnet Group reports third quarter results with EBITDA beat
Hemnet Group AB published its third quarter 2026 financial results on Thursday, showing adjusted EBITDA slightly above market expectations while revenue came in close to forecasts.
The Swedish property listing company reported net sales 0.6% below consensus estimates, while adjusted EBITDA exceeded expectations by 4.2%. The revenue figure was largely anticipated as Hemnet had already disclosed two months of net sales and listings data before the quarterly report.
Average revenue per listing growth slowed to 9.2% in the third quarter, down from 12.4% in the second quarter and 12.2% in the first quarter. The company noted continued demand for its top-tier packages and said 40% of customers adopted premium-priced sell-first-pay-later options.
Total published listings declined 13% in the quarter, an improvement from the 14.3% decline in the second quarter and 30.6% drop in the first quarter.
Hemnet maintained its existing approach to guidance without providing specific targets for fiscal year 2026. The company reiterated its financial objectives of 15% to 20% net sales growth, EBITDA margins above 55%, and leverage below 2 times. The company’s leverage stood at 1.3 times in the third quarter.
Market consensus for fiscal year 2026 anticipates a revenue decline of approximately 17.5% and EBITDA margins around 43%. Year-to-date figures show a 21.9% decline in net sales and 44% EBITDA margins.
