Google adds study tools to Gemini Notebook with video summaries

Google announced three new features for Gemini Notebook designed to help students prepare for exams on Monday.

The company introduced Short Video Overviews that generate 60-second videos to explain complex concepts. The videos can be watched on mobile devices or shared with other students.

Google added Interactive Learning Overviews under the Reports section that guide users through their study material step by step. The feature combines summaries with slides, quizzes, and flashcards based on the user’s coursework.

The update includes expanded quiz formats with short-answer, multi-select, and fill-in-the-blank options. Students can request feedback from the notebook after completing quizzes or reviewing flashcards.
