Colombia stocks higher at close of trade; COLCAP up 0.47%

Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Industrials, Services and Agriculture sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP added 0.47%.

The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Grupo Nutresa SA (BVC:NUTRESA), which rose 3.11% or 9,960.00 points to trade at 329,960.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Promigas (BVC:PROMIGAS) added 0.65% or 40.00 points to end at 6,220.00 and Organizacion Terpel SA (BVC:TERPEL) was up 0.42% or 80.00 points to 19,120.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Grupo Argos SA (BVC:GRUPOARGOS), which fell 3.73% or 780.00 points to trade at 20,120.00 at the close. Inversiones Argos Pref (BVC:PFGRUPOARG) declined 2.58% or 420.00 points to end at 15,860.00 and Mineros SA (BVC:MINEROS) was down 2.41% or 520.00 points to 21,060.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.

Shares in Grupo Nutresa SA (BVC:NUTRESA) rose to all time highs; up 3.11% or 9,960.00 to 329,960.00.

US coffee C for December delivery was down 1.77% or 5.60 to $310.10 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 1.97% or 112.00 to hit $5,799.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.00% or 0.05 to trade at $4,142.65 a troy ounce.

USD/COP was up 0.33% to 3,182.90, while BRL/COP rose 0.33% to 632.98.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.01% at 101.52.
