Ambu A/S reported fourth-quarter revenue of DKK 1,700 million, up 13.9% on an organic basis and 16% on a reported basis from DKK 1,466 million in the prior year period.
Shares of the medical device company climbed 6% following the release of results and guidance for fiscal 2026/27.
The company projects organic revenue growth of 9.5% to 11.5% and an EBIT margin of 13% to 15% for the new fiscal year. Ambu expects its Endoscopy Solutions segment to deliver approximately 15% organic growth.
The Endoscopy Solutions segment posted 21.2% organic growth in the fourth quarter.
Respiratory grew 21% organically, supported by the launch of SureSight Mobile. Urology, ENT & GI increased 21.3% organically.
Anesthesia & Patient Monitoring recorded 2.8% organic growth, with Patient Monitoring up 6.5% and Anesthesia down 0.6%.
North America grew 17.9%, driven by Endoscopy Solutions. Europe posted 8.5% growth and Rest of World increased 15.1%.
Fourth-quarter EBIT reached DKK 293 million, producing a 17.2% margin compared to DKK 147 million and a 10% margin in the prior-year period.
The improvement reflected operating leverage and a positive effect from tariff reclaims, partially offset by commercial organization investments.
"We ended the year with strong momentum, delivering 13.9% organic revenue growth in Q4, driven by 21.2% organic growth in Endoscopy Solutions," said Chief Executive Officer Britt Meelby Jensen.
Free cash flow before acquisitions totaled DKK 216 million, up from DKK 130 million in the prior-year quarter. Ambu plans to return DKK 551 million to shareholders in 2026/27 through a proposed DKK 151 million dividend and a DKK 400 million share buyback program.
