Adidas cuts jobs in India technology team

Adidas announced on Wednesday that it has cut positions within its technology team in India as part of efforts to simplify operations.

The German sportswear maker said the changes affect less than 20% of its India Technology organization, according to a company statement.

Adidas did not disclose the exact number of jobs eliminated. The company’s website showed nearly 650 people worked at its technology hubs in Gurgaon and Chennai.
