NYC coffee shop serves up pumpkin spice lattes — inside real pumpkins
The Coffee Lab in Astoria went viral for serving $15 pumpkin spice lattes inside real pumpkins, selling over 400 drinks since October.
Coffee lovers are out of their gourds for this autumn specialty.
A New York coffee shop has gone viral for serving fall-favorite pumpkin spice lattes in actual pumpkins.

The Coffee Lab in Astoria is drawing eyes and lines for their $15 fall bevs including Pumpkin Spice Lattes, Pumpkin Biscoff Lattes, Caramel Apple Latte, Maple Sea Salt Lattes, and many more — offered Ice or hot — all served in hollowed-out gourds that fit in the palm of your hand.
“We got together and were thinking of cool drinks or ideas we could do for the fall and instantly thought about pumpkins,” owner Esmael Mubarez told The Post. “We love going to pumpkin patches throughout this season and realized we wanted to give an experience to everyone much more locally.”
The most popular drink is the Pumpkin Biscoff Latte which features a mountain of whipped cream, a drizzle of caramel, pumpkin spice, topped with a Biscoff cookie biscuit, and made with coffee roasted in Astoria.

The autumnal offerings are available from Friday to Sunday and has been a hit with locals, coffee cravers, and influencers.
So far the shop on 31st Avenue has gone through 400 pumpkins since kicking off the special at the start of October.
Though the offer was meant to end after Halloween, coffee lovers may still be in luck through November.

“We’re debating since there’s such a high demand, we’re considering running it for the month of November as well,” said Mubarez, “But definitely will be offering pumpkins for at least another two weeks.”
