5 Stocks That Could Be Ready to Take Off
Market Analysis by covering: Nasdaq Inc, Morningstar Inc, Signet Jewelers Ltd, Euronext. Read 's Market Analysis
Strong companies are not always attractive buys, and attractive charts are not always ready to break. The most interesting setups tend to appear when both pieces line up: a stock has already built a constructive structure, but the market is still waiting for one decisive level to give way.
That is the common thread across Nasdaq, Signet Jewelers, Morningstar, Watches of Switzerland and Euronext. None of these trades depends on buying weakness blindly. Each one has a visible technical trigger, a defined support area and a clear point where the chart would improve if resistance is removed.
This matters because breakout investing is less about predicting what a company should be worth and more about waiting for the market to confirm that buyers are willing to pay higher prices. A stock can spend months building a base before the real move begins. Entering too early ties up capital and increases the chance of sitting through repeated failed attempts; entering after a valid breakout can reduce that uncertainty, even if the purchase price is slightly higher.
The strongest setups here are therefore not necessarily the stocks with the largest theoretical targets. They are the names where resistance, support and trend structure create the cleanest decision framework.
Today, we are going to look at these five possible investment opportunities. For this purpose, I’ll be using InvestingPro. Here you can create your own watchlists. You also have a specific section for ideas. The ProPicks portfolios are very interesting. In fact, we get many investment ideas from here.
These are portfolios that beat the indices, and this is thanks to AI analyzing over 100 financial parameters and 25 years of data. This way, it is able to select the most interesting companies.
Look, for example, at this portfolio: opportunities in mid-cap companies in the United States. It is already up 41.8% this year.

But you don’t just have portfolios with U.S. stocks; here you have 88 portfolios with securities from different countries.
And it doesn’t stop there, because you also have a screener section, a data explorer, a charts section, and the very interesting WarrenAI.
What is WarrenAI?
WarrenAI is a kind of ChatGPT, but specialized in investments, and you can use it in the most creative way you want. You can explore possible investment opportunities. I’ve been using it lately as a screener.
You can also check company results, ask for information on stocks you don’t know, and so on. It can even do technical analysis for you. Plus, it now has version 2.0, a much more powerful version.
Most AI chatbots spit out quick answers where you have no way of knowing whether the data is accurate or hallucinated. Analyst Mode 2.0 works entirely differently:
- Multi-Step Autonomous Research: It breaks down the prompt into structured research phases instead of generating an unverified guess.
- 14 Live Data Feeds: It simultaneously pulls live data across financials, consensus analyst price targets, real-time news, and technical charts directly from investing.com.
- Internal Fact-Checking Loop: It automatically fact-checks its own work up to 10 times before returning the final output.
- Transparent Sourcing: It displays the exact source and methodology behind every metric, price level, and chart trend.
1. Nasdaq Is Building the Cleanest Rectangle Setup
Nasdaq has one of the most straightforward charts in the group because the stock is consolidating just below an all-time high around 100.76. The structure resembles the sideways pattern seen in 2022, when a prolonged range eventually resolved to the upside. That does not guarantee the same outcome, but it gives the current consolidation a useful historical reference.
The first bullish case comes from the larger rectangle. If price breaks above 100.76 and holds, the measured move points toward roughly 123.80. That target is not simply based on momentum continuing indefinitely; it comes from the height of the range being projected above the breakout zone.
There is also a smaller bullish structure already active inside the larger one. That setup points toward approximately 108.40. If the stock reaches that level, it would necessarily have moved through the all-time high first, which makes the smaller target an early confirmation that the larger breakout is working.
The logic behind waiting for the breakout is simple. The long-term trend remains constructive, and Dow Theory generally favors continuation until the market provides evidence of a reversal. But the all-time high is still real resistance. Buying before 100.76 is a bet that resistance will fail; buying after a clean breakout is a bet that it already has.

Support gives the trade a clear risk framework. The moving average and the 87.94 area form the first important downside zone. As long as price remains above that region, the broader base stays intact. A sustained break below it would weaken the argument that the current range is preparing for another leg higher.
2. Signet Jewelers Has the Biggest Long-Term Upside if 108.63 Breaks
Signet Jewelers is more complicated because the stock has several overlapping bullish targets, but they all depend on the same initial condition: resistance around 108.63 has to break.
That level is obvious on the weekly chart because price has repeatedly failed there. As long as the stock remains below it, the technical picture is still incomplete. Once it is cleared, however, the structure changes quickly because several different projections begin pointing higher.
The first target sits around 127, based on a second bullish impulse. A broader range projection points toward approximately 165.80, while another larger impulse suggests a level near 145. Those targets should not be treated as competing forecasts. They are better viewed as stages: the stock has to prove it can get through 108.63, then challenge the all-time high around 122.73, before the more ambitious projections become relevant.

The long-term chart is where the opportunity becomes much more interesting. If Signet eventually clears its all-time high, the entire multi-year base could activate a much larger target around 236. That is a substantial move, but it would also require patience because a stock traveling from the low 100s toward the 200s is unlikely to do so without meaningful corrections along the way.
This is exactly where investment horizon matters. A trader looking for a short-term breakout should focus on 108.63, 122.73 and the first measured targets. A longer-term investor can tolerate more volatility and use the larger weekly base as the primary framework.
3. Morningstar Needs to Clear Two Layers of Resistance
Morningstar already has an active bullish divergence target around 234, but the stock still has work to do before that target becomes straightforward.
The first obstacle is the main descending trendline. Recent gains have carried the stock back toward that line, and the market has slowed there. That is exactly what should happen at a meaningful technical barrier: price either pauses, rejects or eventually breaks through.
The second obstacle is the yearly high around 220.62. A move above that level would do more than remove resistance. It would also activate another bullish projection based on a second impulse, adding a fresh reason to expect continuation.
The weekly chart adds one more layer. The 200-week moving average is still declining, which means the long-term trend has not fully normalized. The positive point is that the moving average sits above the divergence target rather than directly in front of it, so the 234 objective does not require the stock to clear every long-term barrier first.

Morningstar therefore sits somewhere between a recovery trade and a full breakout. The divergence target is already active, but the market still needs to prove it can move through the descending trendline and then 220.62. Until that happens, the upside case remains valid but not fully confirmed.
4. Watches of Switzerland Is Trying to Turn a Bottom Into a New Uptrend
Watches of Switzerland has already completed the first part of the job: after a severe decline, the stock built a clear bottom and began recovering. The next question is whether that recovery can mature into a durable uptrend.
The active upside target sits around 761, which gives the move enough room to remain interesting even after the initial rebound. Relative strength also helps the case. The broader luxury sector has struggled, yet Watches of Switzerland has been performing better than the sector average. When an individual stock starts outperforming a weak industry, that often signals that company-specific demand is stronger than the headline sector narrative suggests.
The short-term correction is now testing that resilience. Price has pulled back toward the moving average, which is the first support zone. If buyers reappear there, the correction can remain a normal reset within the broader recovery.

Below that, 614.5 is the next important support around the bullish gap. On the weekly chart, the 200-week moving average provides a larger structural support zone if the correction becomes deeper.
The cleanest signal that the current pullback has ended would be a break above the descending trendline connecting the recent highs. Traders who want more confirmation can use 707.5 instead. A move above that level would make it harder to argue that the stock is still trapped in a short-term correction.
The attraction here is not that the stock has already fallen a lot. It is that the decline appears to have produced a durable base, relative strength is improving and there is a visible technical path toward 861 if the current correction resolves higher.
5. Euronext Has the Strongest Trend but the Least Margin for Error
Euronext differs from the other names because the stock is not trying to emerge from a large base or reverse a major decline. It is already in a strong uptrend and continues to outperform, with a second bullish impulse target still active around EUR195.
That makes Euronext technically simpler but also less forgiving. When a stock has already traveled a long way above its long-term moving averages, the upside can continue, but new buyers have less support nearby if momentum suddenly changes.
The first level to watch is 155.7. A break below that area would be the first reason to become more cautious in the short term. The next support sits around the moving average, while the weekly chart still shows a rising 200-week moving average confirming the underlying bull trend.
The fact that the 200-week average is far below current price is both positive and negative. It confirms how strong the longer-term trend has been, but it also shows how extended the stock has become. A correction would not automatically destroy the bullish thesis, yet it could be substantial before the long-term trend was actually threatened.

That makes Euronext more suitable for trend-following than anticipation. The EUR195 target remains valid while the structure stays intact, but the trade should be managed from support upward rather than treated as an open-ended momentum bet.
The Best Setups Are the Ones With a Clear Trigger
The five stocks are not equally attractive at the same moment. Nasdaq and Signet Jewelers are still waiting for clean resistance breaks, which makes them easier to evaluate because the market has not yet confirmed the next leg. Morningstar already has a bullish target active but must work through two resistance layers before the setup becomes cleaner. Watches of Switzerland is further along in a recovery, while Euronext is already in an established trend where risk management matters more than identifying a new base.
That difference is useful because it shows why technical analysis should not be reduced to drawing upside targets. The entry trigger, support structure and stage of the trend matter just as much as the projected objective.
Nasdaq offers the cleanest rectangle breakout, with 100.76 as the decisive level and 123.80 as the larger measured move. Signet has the most ambitious long-term potential, but 108.63 remains the gatekeeper. Morningstar needs to clear the descending trendline and 220.62 before the path toward 234 and beyond becomes easier. Watches of Switzerland needs to prove that the current correction is ending, while Euronext simply needs to avoid losing 155.7 and the nearby trend structure.
The common advantage is that none of these setups requires guessing. Each chart provides a level where the bullish thesis becomes stronger and another level where it begins to weaken.
Breakouts Work Better When the Market Confirms the Story
A stock breaking resistance is not automatically a buy, just as a stock touching support is not automatically cheap. The strongest setups usually combine three features: the larger trend is constructive, the breakout level has been tested enough times to matter, and there is enough room to the next major resistance for the reward to justify the risk.
That framework explains why waiting can be valuable. Buying Signet at 105 because it is “close” to 108.63 is fundamentally different from buying after the market has actually proven it can trade above resistance. The same applies to Nasdaq below 100.76 or Watches of Switzerland below the trendline that defines the current correction.
Waiting for confirmation means giving up the first few percentage points of a move, but it can also prevent capital from getting trapped in a range that continues for months. For longer-term investors, entering earlier may still make sense if the underlying thesis is strong and position sizing allows for volatility. For shorter-term traders, confirmation is usually more valuable.
That is also where tools such as screeners and AI-assisted research can be useful. The chart identifies the trigger, but the next step is checking whether valuation, earnings quality and business momentum support the move. A breakout backed by improving fundamentals is usually more durable than one driven by technical momentum alone.
What Investors Should Watch Next
The near-term watchlist is straightforward. Nasdaq needs to clear 100.76. Signet Jewelers needs to break 108.63 and then confront the all-time high around 122.73. Morningstar needs to move through its descending trendline and then 220.62. Watches of Switzerland needs to end the current correction by reclaiming the trendline or, more conservatively, 707.5. Euronext needs to preserve 155.7 while it continues working toward EUR195.
Those levels matter more than trying to rank the five stocks by excitement. Breakout investing works because it turns a vague bullish opinion into a testable decision. Either the market confirms the setup or it does not.
The larger targets can be useful for estimating potential reward, but the nearest resistance and support levels should drive the actual trade. A projection toward 236 in Signet is interesting only after the stock has cleared 108.63 and then its all-time high. A target of 123.80 in Nasdaq matters only if 100.76 stops acting as resistance. The sequence is what keeps an attractive chart from becoming an undisciplined bet.
For investors willing to wait, that creates a useful advantage. There is no need to predict which of the five will move first. The market can provide the answer through the breakout itself.
