Mohamed Elsergany has joined Exclusive Markets as Chief Executive Officer of MENA, according to a LinkedIn post shared by the executive.

London's trading industry is coming home!

Elsergany moves to the broker after spending four years at PU Prime, where he held two senior management positions overseeing the MENA region.

Elsergany's Career Spans Swissquote and PU Prime

He most recently served as CEO of MENA at PU Prime for two years and eight months. Before that, he spent one year and four months as the broker's Managing Director for MENA.

Earlier in his career, Elsergany worked at Swissquote as a Business Development Manager, spending four years and one month at the company.

Brokers Continue Hiring Across the MENA Region

His appointment comes as brokers continue to recruit regional executives and expand their presence in the Middle East. In February, PU Prime obtained a Category 5 licence in Dubai, joining several CFD brokers that have established a presence in the UAE.

The licence allows firms to promote products offered by offshore entities but does not permit them to hold client assets or execute trades locally.

Other brokers have also made senior appointments in the region. In September, Dubai-based APC Prime appointed Shadi Salloum, formerly MENA Director at XS.com, as its Global CEO. Match-Prime Liquidity hired Kareem Harras as Head of MENA in January to lead its regional expansion.

Meanwhile, ACCM outlined plans to enter the MENA and European markets, while Capital.com appeared to be expanding its local presence through director-level recruitment in Bahrain and Azerbaijan.

Earlier examples of regional expansion include GBE Brokers, which opened a Dubai office and appointed a regional executive in 2022, and Traze, which hired Wassim Anastasiou as its MENA Regional Director in November 2025.
