Romania says uncovered Russian sabotage network

Romania’s Intelligence Service announced today that it discovered a sabotage network directed by Russia. The service stated the group was behind a fire that occurred in September at an industrial platform in central Romania located near a state-owned weapons company.

The intelligence agency said coordinators in the Russian Federation had given the network a wide range of targets across the region. These targets included both state and private weapons production facilities, along with other sites of military and industrial interest.

Russia has repeatedly rejected accusations of sabotage activities in Europe.
