Kremlin reports no ceasefire violations in Oleshky, Ukraine
Russia stated that no violations of the ceasefire have been recorded around Oleshky, a Russian-controlled town in Ukraine, according to Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov on Tuesday.
The ceasefire began earlier on Tuesday to allow humanitarian operations in the frontline town located in southern Ukraine. The temporary halt in fighting aims to enable aid deliveries and evacuations from the area.
The town faces severe shortages of food and medicine. Moscow and Kyiv reached an agreement to hold fire in the area to facilitate the humanitarian efforts.
