Citi sees UAE real estate recovery in October transaction data
The United Arab Emirates real estate market showed signs of recovery in October following earlier disruptions this year, according to data analyzed by Citi as of November 1.
Residential transaction activity improved in both Dubai and Abu Dhabi during October on a month-over-month basis, Citi reported in its monthly real estate tracker.
Dubai’s market showed stronger momentum for ready properties compared to off-plan developments in October. Abu Dhabi witnessed the opposite trend, with off-plan properties demonstrating stronger momentum during the month.
Residential price data available through September pointed to small improvements month-over-month in both Dubai and Abu Dhabi, according to the analysis.
Citi characterized the market movements as a readjustment following disruptions observed earlier in 2026.
