Strive Continues Stacking BTC But There's a Catch
The company's weekly accumulations have declined sharply in terms of USD value.
Just a week after completing its largest bitcoin acquisition to date, the Matt Cole-led company has announced a fresh purchase for a more modest amount of 124 BTC.
Strive spent $10 million to increase its portfolio in the past week, while the average price was just over $80,500. Its total holdings have grown to 43,124 BTC.

Aside from the BTC acquisition, the SEC filing shows that Strive’s cash and cash equivalent reserves declined from $504.4 million to $490.4 million, which aligns with the company’s statement that existing cash funded most of the bitcoin purchase.
Strive continues to hold 505,000 STRC shares (the Perpetual Stretch Preferred Stock of Strategy), while its own preferred stock increased by 3,418 shares to 7,003,418. SATA stocks remained unchanged at just over 14 million.
Today’s announcement contrasts with the one from the previous week in terms of sheer size. At the time, Strive broke its own record, completing its largest single BTC acquisition to date by adding 6,182 units for over $511 million.
